What is a Portable Appliance?
Portable equipment which is not part of a fixed installation but when used is connected to a fixed installation (or a generator), by means of a flexible cable, plug and socket constitutes a portable appliance. It includes equipment that is handheld or hand-operated while connected to the power supply. It also includes extension leads, power leads, plugs and sockets, and cord sets that supply portable equipment and are not part of the fixed installation, since they operate in the same environment and are subject to similar use as the equipment they serve.

ULV FOGGERS
At SED we use ULV cold Foggers for disinfecting, properties inside and out. Ultra-low volume (ULV) fogging machines are cold fogging machines that use large volumes of air at low pressures to transform the liquid into droplets that are dispersed into the atmosphere. Because ULV foggers use cold fogging techniques and do not get heated to high temperatures, so they can be used both indoors and outdoors safely. Disinfectant & Deodorizing Germ Fogger contains a hospital-grade, contact disinfectant, that when fully discharged generates 6 to 10 meters of disinfectant and deodorizing fog. Are disinfectant foggers safe The Disinfecting Foggers are packaged and distributed via a total release spray, commonly referred to as a “fogger”? The formula is a potent antibacterial and disinfecting solution designed to kill germs, viruses, and bacteria on contact. It is non-toxic and safe for use in households with children or pets. Our large capacity machines can be used in cars, homes, schools, hotels as well as outdoors in farms and Many public places.

SUPER HEATED STEAM

At SED we use the G3 super Heated steam vac machine, also known as dry steam. This machine produces superheated steam at 160 degrees centigrade as well as having amazing Suction for all loose particles. The added advantage of this machine is that is used Stainless steel filters as well as water filters, making sure that no particles are released into the atmosphere. This machine produces dry steam that can break down Grease And dirt from carpets, hard flooring as well as Bedding and mattresses. These machines are for treating disinfecting areas in Hotels, schools hospitals as well as killing fleas and their eggs. Limitations for these machines are Delicate items, such as silks, thin plastics, and velour upholstery.

These machines are great on tiles in the bathroom as well As the floor. Removing chewing gum and fats from Burger bars and Cafes.

STEAM VAC & STEAM MACHINES

At SED we use two styles of medium to small steam machines, the smallest being a steamer Only. Our medium machine produces heated steam at 120 plus degrees centigrade as well as having amazing Suction for all loose particles. The added advantage of this machine is that it uses High-grade Hepa filters, making sure that no particles are released into the atmosphere. This machine produces steam that can break down Grease And dirt from carpets, hard flooring as well as Bedding and mattresses. These machines are for treating disinfecting areas in Hotels, schools hospitals as well as killing fleas And eggs. Limitations for these machines are Delicate items, such as silks, thin plastics, and velour upholstery. Our smallest machine we use is just a steamer only with no suction but still produces heated steam at 120 Degrees max. This machine has been used to clean ovens, tiles Wax off carpets as well as even being used in an 11th-century bell tower where chemicals could not be used. Limitations for this machine are the same as above As well as not having an external filler tank. The other machines we have used external tanks separate from the steam tank, this means they never Run out of steam. This small one generally runs for ½ hour before Having to be filled again.

We can clean the fans & Circuit boards in Computers / Audio Equipment (including power amps in night clubs) Lighting Equipment (including Scanners Etc in Clubs) In the case of Audio equipment this to can cause overheating with the unit shutting down or eventually complete breakdown Water cooling units, most electrical work stations in factories.
 
All the above will in most cases improve speed and of course reliability of the appliance.
 
Where the cleaning service is being used we will Pat test as part of this service.
